Enrol NowWant to know my top 3 nerdy teacher dreams?
For you (and all teachers) to be able to:
01
Craft a strong teaching presence and practice that is powerful in mitigating challenging behaviours before they even arise.
02
Confidently walk into your classroom knowing you have the exact roadmaps to address behaviour calmly and effectively and get back to teaching.
03
Create real and lasting change with your students through transformative dialogue, real consequences, and true discipline.
There's just one problem with this vision...
All of those things require a great amount of meaningful support, preparation and training. Sadly, this just isn't the 'norm'.
As a result of this...
- Teachers are left to their own devices to sink (drown) in the profession before they teach themselves to swim.
- Teaching time is spent constantly playing 'whack-a-mole' with frustrating and relentless low-level disruption.
- Passionate teachers are left feeling defeated and disempowered by behaviours... worse yet, feeling like they don't belong in the classroom.
- Teachers who are incredible assets and could thrive with the right support are miserable, burnt out, and leaving teaching!
But I am here to tell you, teacher...
This truly does not have to be your story
You see, everything changes in our classroom, when we focus on the things we can control within ourselves and in our practice. Luckily for us, there is a hell of a lot we can control.
We just need to know what those things are, and how to do those things... No small order.
That's where That'll Teach 'Em comes in. A strategic course which steps you through exact roadmaps for reducing, responding to, and resolving challenging behaviour. That gives you the precise resources you, mentorship, support, and community to take action, make change, and see results (without fluffing about, you have enough to do).
TELL ME MORE"Claire has hands down created the best piece of professional development I have ever come across. If you are unsure if this will benefit you as a teacher, I can absolutely say without any doubt that it will. 100% transformative."

Meet your mentor
Hi fellow teachers, I'm Claire!
I am an experienced Australian Secondary English teacher and senior leader, specialising in supporting students with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. Over my career, I have worked across the United Kingdom and Australia, dedicated to transforming volatile, challenging, and chaotic learning environments into places of safety, support, and learning.
With an unwavering belief that in order to champion all students, you must first champion all teachers, I founded The Unteachables Academy, where I am dedicated to providing teachers with the actionable and relevant support, mentorship, and training, they need and deserve!
But it wasn't always this way...
I went into the profession wanting to be the teacher I desperately needed when I was at school. Yet... Despite a strong why and my best intentions, when I got into the classroom and was faced with a torrent of unmanageable behaviours, and I very quickly fell back on being the exact teacher I didn’t want to be. It was pure survival.
It was then that I realised just how short our training falls. It isn't fair on us as teachers, nor the students in our care.
I became a total nerd for classroom management, and little by little over the years I developed a tapestry of practice that worked (AND showed the same compassion for my students that I once needed).
One that I have been able to replicate and support hundreds of teachers to develop and transform their classroom practice.
I believe whole heartedly that everything changes in our classroom, for us, and every single student, when we focus on the things we can control. And we CAN control so much.
That is exactly why That'll Teach 'Em exists today, and why I am so incredible excited to support you.

GEORGINA POOLEY, 2023 COHORT:
"This course was better than any behaviour management training I received at university or during my teaching practices. Best money I have ever spent on training or any books I have read!"
NICOLE MILOSEVIC, 2023 COHORT:
"Claire is exceptional at how she delivers content. As a teacher, we all know how to deliver an engaging lesson, but seem to forget these skills when we deliver PD. Not only is the course and content relevant and necessary to our modern teaching world, but the way it is delivered is also interesting and engaging. Wish I could make every teacher sit down and do the course 😜."
Have you said this?
Very often teachers talk about how they need to get 'through' the year. I have said it many times myself. Not surprising, being a teacher can feel like walking around in pure survival mode 24/7.
I want something different for you. I don't want you to just get through the year, I want you to get from the year. That is exactly what will be happening when you make the decision to join this cohort of That'll Teach 'Em today. Don't miss out - I usually only run 1 cohort per year!

Real talk, my friend
Things only change, when we change.
When I was drowning in challenging classroom behaviours and falling back on being a teacher I am not very proud of admitting back in my first year, a mentor observed my lesson. "Claire, you're making things so much harder for yourself", she said, before rattling off a long list of things to a very dumbfounded me.
Wow. The penny dropped. That penny was that I didn't know what I didn't know, and I didn't know a LOT.
This was the catalyst for the teacher I am today. Somebody who became obsessed with learning about classroom management. Somebody who, from very early on in her career, knew she wanted to be in the business of supporting teachers to craft their practice in ways that they didn't even think possible.
When you enrol in That'll Teach 'Em, here's what's waiting for you on the other side:
- Me guiding you through my tried and true roadmap to confidently and calmly classroom managing.
- Mentorship from me, a fellow teacher who gets it, not from somebody who is out of touch!
- A community of educators who are just as passionate as you about improving their practice, and the lives of every student they teach.
ARIELLE BAKER, 2023 COHORT:
"Classroom management has always been the most difficult part of teaching for me, and I came very close to quitting last year because every day was such a struggle. I was able to put several things into practice right away, which made me realize how much I needed the course. I love how it's laid out, with foundational knowledge about the brain and behaviour, followed by concrete tools to learn to manage your classroom effectively. A year later, I no longer think about quitting teaching. Thank you so much!"
